3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Players to Avoid on 11/29/17

Devin Booker is coming off a huge performance against the Bulls, but he may be a landmine against the Pistons on Wednesday with no rest. Who else should you avoid in your NBA DFS lineups tonight?

In daily fantasy basketball, finding players you want to roster is a lot easier than finding players to avoid.

You can find a ton of great information and research on guys you might want to include in your DFS NBA lineups, but what about guys you may want to lessen your exposure to -- or even fade altogether?

Avoiding players whose matchups or situations aren't as great as they seem can often be just as important as finding the best targets. After all, it only takes one player to sink a lineup. Searching for the landmines could mean the difference from winning or losing your contests.

Devin Booker, SG, Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Price: $6,900

Devin Booker lit up the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night for 51.6 FanDuel points after missing a game because of a sore toe. The Phoenix Suns are now on the second night of a back-to-back and Booker will have a much tougher matchup against Avery Bradley and the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit's defense has played well this season, which is one of the reasons they have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons are holding opponents to 106.3 points per 100 possessions, and that improves to a 102.2 defensive rating when they are at their new home arena.

Combine that with Booker's battle with Bradley and it makes him tough to target on no rest. Bradley and the Pistons are holding shooting guards to 0.78 FanDuel points per minute, while Booker is shooting just under 35% from the floor in his only two career meetings with Bradley.

Lance Stephenson, SF, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $5,200

Lance Stephenson has been on a roll lately, averaging nearly 30 FanDuel points per game over his last three. This has led to a huge price increase at FanDuel, but tonight against the Rockets may be where it comes crashing down.

Stephenson is a different player on the road compared to playing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. In 11 road games, Stephenson is shooting just 35.6% from the floor, compared to 47.1% at home.

Considering all three of his most recent big games were at home, it may be time to jump off him now that his price is above the bargain level. The Rockets are holding shooting guards to 0.78 FanDuel points per minute, and with Stephenson's minutes not very secure, his fantasy value tonight shouldn't be, either.

Terrence Ross, SG, Orlando Magic

FanDuel Price: $4,700

Terrence Ross has started coming off the bench in favor of Jonathon Simmons for the Orlando Magic as of late, and it looks like it might have hurt his fantasy value even more.

Ross has the ability to get hot at any time, but he is a streaky shooter. The problem is that the games in which he does shoot well have been few and far between this season, which has also had a negative impact on his minutes.

Ross has played more than 30 minutes just twice in November, and with the Oklahoma City Thunder holding shooting guards to just 0.74 FanDuel points per minute, it's not the night to take a chance on him if he's coming off the bench again.
