Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Friday 4/7/17

Kristaps Porzingis' back spasms may end his season prematurely. Which other injury situations are worth monitoring for Friday's NBA DFS contests?

As NBA playoff seeding is starting to get decided with the regular season winding down, several teams are being extremely cautious with their players. That could lead to a ton of value plays on tonight's DFS slate. Below are all the injury situations worth monitoring before contests start.

Notable Injuries

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are officially locked into the 2 seed in the West, and with that, they will rest several key players, including Kawhi Leonard, Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz injury situation has improved with the news that Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood are both probable to play. However, George Hill is doubtful, so look for Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack to continue taking over point guard duties if Raul Neto is out again.

Atlanta Hawks

Coming off a game last night, Paul Millsap will not play on Friday, while Thabo Sefolosha is listed as out. Dennis Schroder, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kent Bazemore are all doubtful. Without Millsap, Ersan Ilyasova will gain some value, along with Dwight Howard. Taurean Prince will be popular on the wing, while DeAndre Bembry and Malcolm Delaney should also be nice value selections.

New York Knicks

Kristaps Porzingis might be shut down this season, so we'll assume he is out for the New York Knicks. Carmelo Anthony is resting, so look for the Knicks to rely more on Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Guillermo Hernangomez, Courtney Lee and Justin Holiday.

Denver Nuggets

Wilson Chandler is sick and is questionable for the Denver Nuggets. Jameer Nelson and Will Barton have already been ruled out, so look for Emmanuel Mudiay, Gary Harris and Jamal Murray to gain some value. If Chandler is also out, Kenneth Faried and Danilo Gallinari should get a bump.

Houston Rockets

Sam Dekker is still out, but Ryan Anderson is listed as probable and is expected to play in limited minutes.

Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies

Mike Conley was experiencing some swelling from being poked in the eye last week, but he is not on the Memphis Grizzlies' injury report, so look for him to start on Friday.

Seth Curry, Dallas Mavericks

Seth Curry has been ruled out on Friday, so Yogi Ferrell and JJ Barea could gain some run, along with Devin Harris.

Tristan Thompson, Cleveland Cavaliers

Tristan Thompson is out again on Friday, which could allow Kevin Love and LeBron James to slide into the center and power forward spots, respectively, with Channing Frye picking up a few extra minutes at both frontcourt positions.

Lesser Injuries

Oklahoma City Thunder

Andre Roberson is doubtful and Alex Abrines is out for the Oklahoma City Thunder. With those two not playing, Doug McDermott looks like a nice DFS option.

Los Angeles Lakers

D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson are set to play. Brandon Ingram will also play, but still on a minutes limit.

Luke Babbitt, Miami Heat

Luke Babbitt has been downgraded to doubtful, so look for James Johnson to continue getting more run in a must-win game for the Miami Heat.
