Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Thursday 3/16/17

The Clippers will be without Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan tonight. Which other injury situations are worth monitoring?

The game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets is going to be a value-fest tonight. Both teams are resting or sitting out important injured players that are going to be key in taking down a big pot Thursday night.

Let's break it down and take a look around the league.

Los Angeles Clippers

After a tough loss last night to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Clippers are taking on the Nuggets tonight sans both of their starting big men. DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin will both be rested tonight, which should make Chris Paul one of the top plays of the evening. On top of that, Brandon Bass, Marreese Speights and Luc Mbah a Moute should all see expanded workloads.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets announced yesterday that Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Darrell Arthur will all be out on Thursday, which opens up a ton of value tonight for Denver. Nikola Jokic is going to be asked to do a lot, while Will Barton and Juan Hernangomez are intriguing targets, as well. Also, Kenneth Faried, who has recently been upgraded to probable for tonight's game, is a candidate to replace Hernangomez as the forward you want to roster in Denver tonight.

Brooklyn Nets

Sean Kilpatrick will sit out tonight for the Brooklyn Nets, as will Joe Harris, so there are minutes to be had in the Brooklyn backcourt. Caris LeVert seems like the obvious choice for more minutes while Jeremy Lin and Randy Foye could also see an uptick in run.

Kristaps Porzingis, New York Knicks

Jeff Hornacek says he expects Kristaps Porzingis to be out tonight. This will mean Carmelo Anthony could see a ton of shots, as could Derrick Rose. Lance Thomas and Guillermo Hernangomez are also candidates to see more playing time.

Rodney Hood, Utah Jazz

Rodney Hood will join Derrick Favors and Shelvin Mack on the sidelines tonight for the Utah Jazz. Look for Joe Ingles, Joe Johnson and Alec Burks to gain some extra run.

DeMarre Carroll, Toronto Raptors

DeMarre Carroll was able to go through practice in Wednesday, but he is still officially a game time decision. If he plays, it takes away some value from Norman Powell.

Kyle Korver, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kyle Korver went through a light practice on Wednesday, so he has a chance to play tonight, as well. Check for another update closer to tipoff.
