One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Cory Joseph, PG, Toronto Raptors

Cory Joseph has done a serviceable job since taking over for Kyle Lowry -- over his last six games as a starter, Joseph has averaged 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.2 steals and recorded a season-high of 8 assists in his latest outing. will be coming off three days of rest.

He'll be coming off three days of rest on Wednesday and boasts the third-best defense-versus-position matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Sean Kilpatrick, SG, Brooklyn Nets

Sean Kilpatrick has ramped up his offensive output by notching back-to-back 20-point performances. Though he only shot 3-of-5 from the field in his last game, he drained a ridiculous 16-of-17 from the charity stripe and also pitched in with an average of 3.5 rebounds and 4 assists over his last two games.

Kilpatrick owns the second-highest projected value among those at the position on tonight's slate.

Thabo Sefolosha, SF, Atlanta Hawks

Thabo Sefolosha, like several of his other teammates, have recently been outshined by hotshot Tim Hardaway Jr., but he is still getting his minutes. Sefolosha has logged 32.4 minutes over his last three games with all-around contributions of 7.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during that span.

Sefolosha shares the best defense-versus-position matchup among all small forwards with teammate Kent Bazemore. Priced at near-minimum salary, he is worth considering as a punt option.

Bobby Portis, PF, Chicago Bulls

Bobby Portis has found consistency, hitting at least 10 points and 6 rebounds in his last four games. During that span, he is averaging 12.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 26.4 minutes. Also, he has shot the ball well with a 48% mark on 10.5 field goal attempts.

Portis is projected with the second-highest value among all power forwards on Wednesday night.

Dewayne Dedmon, C, San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge and soon-to-be MVP Kawhi Leonard tonight, which means more opportunities for their role players such as Dewayne Dedmon. Though Dedmon is coming off a scoreless outing, he still boasts per-36 averages of 11 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks this season.

He has the second-highest value among all centers playing tonight and is worth considering as a punt option. According to nbawowy, Dedmon averages 0.94 FanDuel points per minute when Aldridge isn't on the court, so Dedmon could reap the benefits all game long.
