NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturady 2/4/17

Giannis Antetokounmpo has scored at least 35 FanDuel points in 14 of his last 15 healthy games, and the Bucks have a juicy matchup against the Suns. Which other players are worth checking out?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.

Best of the Best

DeMarcus Cousins (FanDuel Price: $11,100): Cousins has been a fantasy monster since Rudy Gay went down with an injury. He's posted 60-plus Fan Duel points in four of the first eight games without Gay, and he's put up a usage rate above 40% in that time. That big production comes despite the Sacramento Kings playing at one of the league's slowest paces. They'll be playing way up in pace today against the Golden State Warriors, and Boogie's big usage rate in an up-tempo matchup makes him a great fantasy play, especially while his price tag hasn't quite caught up to his recent production.
