One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Tony Parker, PG, San Antonio Spurs

Tony Parker is currently playing the best ball of his 16th season in the league, averaging 14.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in the month of January. The point guard has been shooting the ball with veteran confidence lately, averaging 12 field goal attempts over his last four games and finding the bottom of the net 50% of the time.

Parker is playing the Denver Nuggets, who offer the best matchup to opposing point guards tonight. Furthermore, their matchup is currently projected to have an over/under of 220.5, tied for the most points among all games on Thursday's slate.

Seth Curry, SG, Dallas Mavericks

Seth Curry has made major strides this year with career marks all across the board. The Dallas Mavericks are riding their first three-game winning streak this season, a streak that has been credited much to Curry's play. Over his last three games, he's started and averaged 12.3 points, 3 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 three-pointers in 28.7 minutes.

Curry has the third-highest projected value among all shooting guards playing on Thursday.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas, SF, New York Knicks

The New York Knicks frontcourt is anyone's guess right now, but one thing that's seemingly sure (for now) is rookie Mindaugas Kuzminskas. Head coach Jeff Hornacek has given the Lithuanian rookie a lot of run lately, as Kuzminskas is averaging 29.9 minutes over his last four games. During that span, he's recorded 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1 steal.

According to our tools, Kuzminskas is trending as the hottest player among all small forwards on Thursday's slate. He's also playing 87.29% above his season average in terms of fantasy points per night over his last five games.

Channing Frye, PF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Channing Frye's play has been rocky with less playing time, but could see a bump in minutes with news of Kevin Love possibly sitting out. Over 11 games in which Frye has logged 20-plus minutes, he is averaging 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.4 three-pointers.

Frye owns the sixth-highest projected value among all power forwards playing tonight and will face the Phoenix Suns, who have the highest pace among all teams on the slate. Since he's priced at minimum salary, Frye is worth considering as a strong value play.

Guillermo Hernangomez , C, New York Knicks

Get him while he's hot! Guillermo "Willy" Hernangomez is coming off a surprise performance, tallying 17 points and 11 rebounds. In just 20.2 minutes over his last two games, Hernangomez is averaging 12.5 points and 12 rebounds. If Kyle O'Quinn decides to take another vacation day, Willy could be in for another impressive stat line.

Hernangomez boasts the highest projected value among all centers playing on tonight's slate, and may be worthy for your lineup since he is priced at near-minimum salary.
