5 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 11/28/16

Frank Kaminsky has been aggressive with the ball lately. Which other low-cost players are in a good spot?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Andrew Harrison, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

FanDuel Price: $3,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.0

Andrew Harrison has stepped up his game playing alongside Mike Conley, whose minutes may be monitored going forward. If that is the case, Harrison will look to improve upon his recent averages of 7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals over his past five games. The Memphis Grizzlies host the Charlotte Hornets, who have lost four of their last five games, and we project Harrison to score more than 5 fantasy points per $1,000 in salary on FanDuel.

Rodney McGruder, SG, Miami Heat

FanDuel Price: $3,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 15.0

Rodney McGruder has played extended minutes in his past three games, having topped 30-plus minutes with averages of 11 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 three-pointers. Even if Goran Dragic (elbow) is able to play today, Dion Waiters (groin) and Tyler Johnson (oral surgery) have already been ruled out, so McGruder could be in line for a bigger workload once again. The Miami Heat backcourt will be tested versus the Boston Celtics, who give up the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing shooting guards among teams playing tonight.

DeMarre Carroll, SF, Toronto Raptors

FanDuel Price: $4,200
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.1

DeMarre Carroll seems to be hitting his stride as he's averaged 15.5 points, 2.5 three-pointers, and 1.8 steals in his past four games. Carroll is still being monitored on back-to-back sets, but he is producing at a decent value whenever he does play. The Toronto Raptors host the Philadelphia 76ers, who are the best matchup for opposing small forwards in action tonight.

Frank Kaminsky, PF, Charlotte Hornets

FanDuel Price: $4,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 25.2

Frank Kaminsky has been stellar as of late, with averages of 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3 assists in 32.4 minutes over his past five games. Kaminsky had already been logging heavy minutes before the injuries to Nicolas Batum and Marvin Williams, so he is further proving himself to be a worthy player to roster. Kaminsky and the Hornets will be challenged as they visit the Grizzlies, who are fourth in defensive rating.

Zaza Pachulia, C, Golden State Warriors

FanDuel Price: $3,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 16.4

Zaza Pachulia has been a solid contributor on the league's best assisting team with an average of 6.5 assists per 48 minutes -- third-best amongst centers. The 14-year veteran is averaging 20 FanDuel points over his past six games and has done a respectable job with all-around stats of 4.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on the year. The Golden State Warriors host the Atlanta Hawks, who are playing the second game of a back-to-back. Golden State is favored by 13, so Pachulia could get extra run in the second half if the game is out of hand.
