De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings

DraftKings Salary: $5,200

Simply put -- De'Aaron Fox is underpriced for this matchup. His price tag requires just 26 DraftKings points of him to hit value -- 5 points per every $1,000 in salary -- and he's gone for at least 26 DraftKings points in 7 of 10 January games, a stretch in which he has averaged 28 DraftKings points. He's also averaging 32 minutes during that span, so that's no longer an issue.

Fox has been able to sustain that level of fantasy efficiency despite some subpar shooting during the month of January. His rates of 40.9% from the field and 31% from three are not strong numbers, even for an inefficient rookie guard. That goes to show that Fox may not even be close to his ceiling as a fantasy player. He's already exceeding value on a pretty normal basis, so it is exciting to imagine what his upside is in a matchup that should allow him to find his shot more easily.

If there is a matchup out there that would allow Fox to increase his efficiency, tonight's meeting with the Orlando Magic might be it. Orlando combines the league's 7th-fastest pace with the 27th-ranked defensive efficiency to create a very advantageous matchup for opposing point guards -- especially ones with as much quickness and transition scoring ability as Fox. His recent minutes load and level of play make him a safe play in cash games, while the beautiful matchup and game script make him an intriguing tournament target, as well.
