Stephen Curry, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors

DraftKings Salary: $10,500

Stephen Curry heads into this one with quite the extensive price tag, but he certainly has the ceiling to pay it off. The matchup against Jarrett Jack and the New York Knicks couldn't get much better, so it's really just an issue of whether this game will remain competitive enough for the Golden State Warriors to use Curry in the fourth quarter. Golden State is favored by 14 points at home against New York, and their implied team total of 120.5 points is nearly 10 points higher than the next-closest team.

That implied team total is what makes their players so intriguing in tournaments. If this game stays close, Curry and company have immense upside on a slate full of what is expected to be fairly low-scoring contests. Curry in particular has a strong matchup, as the Knicks rank in the bottom-10 against point guards and Jack has no prayer of slowing him down. His defense was most recently highlighted in a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, in which his efforts made Jordan Clarkson look like, well, Steph Curry.

New York has also allowed the sixth-most made three-pointers per game and have struggled to defend the fast break. Despite playing at a slow pace, they've allowed the league's seventh-most points in transition because they don't run the floor well and often don't get back quickly enough to limit quick-paced teams like Golden State.

Curry's price tag and the blowout risk make him more of a tournament play than anything else on DraftKings. He is extremely intriguing in that format, though. High-scoring games such as this have been what has allowed him to access his ceiling. All five of his top-scoring totals have come in games with an over/under above 225. With an over/under set at 227 points, Curry's ceiling in this matchup is as high as any other player on the slate.
