5 NBA Stats to Know From the Last Week

Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins are putting up remarkable numbers in New Orleans. But are they really that remarkable?

Yeah, yeah, we know it's early, but it looks like the 2017-18 NBA season is going to be all about the bigs.

While the Golden State Warriors are dominating the team offensive stats (more about that in a bit), big men are putting up the scary individual numbers. Only three of the top 10 scorers are point guards, while five of them stand over seven feet. Contrast that to last season, when the top three scorers were point guards, and only two of the top-10 topped seven feet.

That all being the case, let's talk about, among other things, what kind of damage is being done in the paint.
