Orioles-Red Sox postponed by rain Tuesday, doubleheader scheduled Wednesday
Tuesday's game between the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox has been postponed due to rain.
What It Means:
The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon as the front end of a doubleheader. David Price was scheduled to throw Tuesday for the Red Sox while Baltimore had Jimmy Yacabonis penciled in. Price will now start Game 1 of the doubleheader and Chris Sale will toe the rubber Game 2. The nightcap of the doubleheader is scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. ET first pitch, meaning it will be included on FanDuel's main slate.
The Red Sox are 3rd and the Orioles are dead last in numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings.
