Mookie Betts (side) out of Red Sox's lineup Tuesday
Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts (side) is out of Tuesday's starting lineup against the New York Yankees.
Betts made an early exit from Sunday's game against the New York Mets due to left side soreness. It's believed to be a minor issue, but the Red Sox are exercising caution with the postseason only weeks away. J.D. Martinez will take Betts' place in right field.
Betts is averaging 15.3 FanDuel points per game this season, while slashing .337/.431/.619 with 29 home runs, 72 RBI, 118 runs scored, and 28 steals across 583 plate appearances.
