Zach Davies (shoulder) to be activated Sunday by Milwaukee
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Zach Davies (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the DL on Sunday.
Davies threw a complete game shutout in a rehab appearance in Single-A on Monday and will be back in the big leagues on Sunday, barring a setback. Manager Craig Counsell was unsure if Davies would return to the rotation or move to the bullpen once activated.
Davies has tossed 43 innings this season with a 5.23 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 16.3% strikeout rate.
