Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) to start for Red Sox Saturday
Boston Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) will start on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox.
Rodriguez landed on the shelf just before the All-Star break due to a severe right ankle sprain. The 25-year-old left-hander punched out 14 batters over eight shutout frames during two starts in a minor league rehab assignment with Double-A Portland.
Rodriguez averaged 32.4 FanDuel points while going 11-3 across 19 starts in the first half of the year. He owns a 3.44 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 110 strikeouts and 32 walks through 104 2/3 innings.
