Dodgers' Kenley Jansen (heart) activated from disabled list
The Los Angeles Dodgers activated relief pitcher Kenley Jansen (heart) from the 10-day disabled list.
Jansen was given the all clear by a cardiologist on Monday and will resume closing duties. He sat out the last two weeks with an irregular heartbeat and was placed on blood thinners. Jansen no longer requires the medication and easily beat the initial 4-to-6 week recovery timeline.
Jansen owns a 2.15 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 32 saves while striking out 61 and walking 14 in 54 1/3 innings pitched this season.
