Giants' Austin Slater absent from Wednesday's lineup
San Francisco Giants second baseman Austin Slater is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Slater started in left field and batted sixth in Tuesday's game, but will make way for Hunter Pence to get the start on Wednesday against the lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu.
