Nathan Eovaldi to make Red Sox debut on Sunday
Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi will make his team debut on Sunday in a start against the Minnesota Twins.
Eovaldi was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday in exchange for left-hander Jalen Beeks. The Red Sox will start Brian Johnson on Thursday and then move him to the bullpen.
Eovaldi averaged 28.7 FanDuel points and went 3-4 in 10 starts for the Rays, while recording a 4.26 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 53 strikeouts and 8 walks across 57 innings.
