Rays' Wilson Ramos (hamstring) will start the second half of the season on the DL
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) will be on the disabled list to start the second half of the season.
He suffered a strained left hamstring on Saturday, and he won't be ready to go on Friday when the All-Star break ends. He will be first eligible to return from the DL on Wednesday July 25. Look for Jesus Sucre to start in his place in the meantime.
Ramos is slashing .297/.346/.488 with a .361 wOBA over 315 plate appearance this season.
