Chris Sale to start All-Star Game for American League
Boston Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale will start for the American League in Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game in Washington, D.C.
This will be Sale's third All-Star Game start in a row. Max Scherzer has been named the starter for the National League.
The 29-year-old left-hander spun a 2.23 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 188 strikeouts and 31 walks across 129 innings for the Red Sox in the first half while going 10-4 and averaging 48.8 FanDuel points across 20 starts.
