Yankees' Gary Sanchez (groin) goes through on-field batting practice
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (groin) took on-field batting practice on Tuesday.
Sanchez could begin a minor league rehab assignment as early as this weekend and be back in the Yankees' lineup for the first game after the All-Star break. The 25-year-old was placed on the disabled list June 25 with a Grade 1 right groin strain.
Sanchez was averaging 10.4 FanDuel points in 63 games this season before landing on the DL while slashing .190/.291/.433 with 14 home runs and 41 RBI across 265 plate appearances.
