Justin Smoak

Justin Smoak on the Toronto bench Saturday night

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak is not in the lineup for Saturday's road game against the Los Angeles Angels.

What It Means:

After a rough 0-for-4, 3-strikeout night, Smoak will take a breather for game two of the series. Kendrys Morales will play first base with Curtis Granderson playing DH for the Jays.

Our models have Smoak projected for 15 home runs, 42 RBI and a .258 average the rest of the season.
