Giants' Kelby Tomlinson recalled, starting on Monday
San Francisco Giants infielder Kelby Tomlinson has been recalled from Triple-A Sacramento and is starting on Monday against the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
Brandon Crawford is away from the team on paternity leave, so Tomlinson has been tabbed to help fill the void. He will start at shortstop and bat eighth versus Marlins left-hander Caleb Smith in Monday's series opener.
