Yan Gomes sitting out Monday as Indians host White Sox
Cleveland Indians catcher Yan Gomes is not in the lineup Monday against the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Gomes got a start in the matinee on Sunday, but he'll take a seat Monday night to start a series with the South-siders. Roberto Perez will start behind the plate and bat ninth against right-hander Dylan Covey.
