Javier Baez leaves Cubs' Sunday game after being hit by pitch

Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez was removed from Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals after he was hit by a pitch in the left elbow.

What It Means:

Baez went down on the ground for a few minutes before being replaced by Addison Russell. We'll update on the status of his X-rays once they become available.
