Twins demote Miguel Sano to High-A Fort Myers
Minnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano has been demoted to High-A Fort Myers.
This is a shocking move by the Twins but some time in the minors could be what Sano needs to get back on track. The 2017 All-Star is batting a poor .203 and has already struck out 66 times through 37 games. Joe Mauer and another player are expected to be added to Minnesota's roster on Friday. Jake Cave was optioned to Triple-A Rochester.
Sano was averaging 10.0 FanDuel points per contest.
