Jefry Marte leaves Angels' loss with left wrist contusion, X-rays negative
Los Angeles Angels infielder Jefry Marte exited Monday's 5-3 loss against the Seattle Mariners with a left wrist contusion.
Marte bruised his glove hand when Dee Gordon ran into it during play but X-rays came back negative, so hopefully this is more of a day-to-day issue. The 26-year-old will be re-evaluated on Tuesday.
Marte is averaging 5.9 FanDuel points in 39 games this season while slashing .262/.311/.440 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI across 90 plate appearances.
