Jose Fernandez making MLB debut for Angels on Friday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Jose Fernandez will make his MLB debut at first base on Friday against the Minnesota Twins.
A former standout player in Cuba, Fernandez will make his MLB debut at first base and bat seventh against Twins starter Lance Lynn. Luis Valbuena will start at third base with Kaleb Cowart landing on the DL.
Prior to his call-up, Fernandez was batting .345/.412/.562 with 10 home runs over 226 plate appearances in Triple-A. He's not available on FanDuel tonight.
