Tigers' Victor Martinez out of the lineup on Thursday
Detroit Tigers designated hitter/first baseman Victor Martinez is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's afternoon matchup against the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Martinez will head to the bench after two straight starts. Nick Castellanos will slide into the DH spot as John Hicks enters the lineup at first and Niko Goodrum moves to right.
