Pedro Florimon placed on Phillies' disabled list with broken right foot
Philadelphia Phillies infielder/outfielder Pedro Florimon was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured right foot.
Florimon fouled a ball off his foot in the first inning of Tuesday night's matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers while making a rare start at third base. This is obviously the type of injury that could sideline Florimon for a while. The Phillies called up Mitchell Walding from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding roster move.
Florimon was averaging 4.9 FanDuel points in 33 games this season while slashing .263/.323/.491 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI across 63 plate appearances.
