Jordy Mercer returns to Pirates' lineup on Tuesday
Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Jordy Mercer is starting against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Mercer was given a breather in Monday's opener but he will return to shortstop and bat eighth versus Cubs left-hander Jon Lester on Tuesday night. Sean Rodriguez will move to left field and send Corey Dickerson to the bench.
