Austin Meadows remaining with Pirates, out of Saturday lineup
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Austin Meadows will not start Saturday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Pirates activated Starling Marte (oblique) from the disabled list, and he will start in center today. Despite the move, it looks like Meadows will remain with the team after making a number of starts since his call-up.
Meadows has impressed with a .589 wOBA and 3 home runs through 29 plate appearances. We project him for 84 plate appearances and 3 home runs the rest of the season.
