Wilson Ramos (hand) out of Rays' lineup on Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hand) is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Boston Red Sox.
Ramos made an early exit from Tuesday's loss due to a left (glove) hand contusion he suffered after being struck by a ball in the top of the third inning. It's believed to be a day-to-day issue. Jesus Sucre will handle catching duties for Tampa Bay on Wednesday night.
Ramos is averaging 9.4 FanDuel points in 37 games this season. Assuming the injury is minor, numberFire's models project him to hit .262 with 14 homers and 47 RBI over the rest of the year.
