Howie Kendrick sitting for Nationals on Saturday
Washington Nationals infielder/outfielder Howie Kendrick is not in the lineup on Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Kendrick apparently suffered a serious leg injury in the early game. He will be replaced in left field by Andrew Stevenson against Rich Hill in game two of the doubleheader.
In 160 plate appearances thus far, Kendrick has a .303 batting average with a .805 OPS.
