Anthony Alford getting Tuesday off for Toronto
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Alford is not in the lineup Tuesday against the New York Mets.
Alford played left field on Sunday with the Red Sox starting a left-hander. However, with righty Noah Syndergaard on the hill for the Mets Tuesday, Alford will head to the bench and Curtis Granderson will take over in left field.
Our models project Alford for a .226 batting average with 2 homers, 9 runs scored, and 9 RBI over 93 plate appearances remaining this season.
