Chicago Cubs catcher/first baseman Victor Caratini is out of the lineup on Wednesday against the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
Caratini filled in at first base and catcher the past couple days, but will head to the bench this afternoon. Willson Contreras is back behind the plate and batting fifth.
Caratini is hitting .288/.339/.346 over 56 plate appearances his season.
