Steve Pearce (oblique) placed on Blue Jays' disabled list
Toronto Blue Jays utility option Steve Pearce was placed on the 10-day disabled list with an oblique strain.
Pearce missed three games earlier this week while dealing with tightness in his rib cage and then he was held out of the second half of Thursday's doubleheader after re-injuring himself.
Pearce is averaging 9.3 FanDuel points per game this season while slashing .273/.333/.485 with 3 home runs and 13 RBI through 72 plate appearances.
