Austin Jackson is not in the Giants' lineup on Thursday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Austin Jackson is not in the lineup on Thursday night against the Diamondbacks.
What It Means:
Jackson is only 2-for-13 against Zack Grienke in his career. So, in addition to rest, this move makes strategic sense. Gorkys Hernandez will take Jackson's place in the lineup.
We project Jackson to hit .274 with 6 HR, 41 R, and 37 RBI over the rest of the season.
