Danny Valencia sitting on Orioles' bench versus Tigers
Baltimore Orioles utility player Danny Valencia is not in Thursday's lineup against the Detroit Tigers.
Valencia hit his 2nd home run of the season on Wednesday but the right-handed batter will head to the bench for today's series finale against Tigers right-hander Jordan Zimmerman. Pedro Alvarez will play designated hitter and bat second for Baltimore on Thursday afternoon.
