Ryan McMahon moves to Rockies' bench against Pirates
Colorado Rockies infielder Ryan McMahon is not in Monday's lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
McMahon will be replaced by Pat Valaika at third base in today's series opener as the Rockies continue to fill the void for Nolan Arenado (suspension). He went a combined 1-for-6 with 3 strikeouts in back-to-back starts over the weekend against the Washington Nationals.
McMahon is averaging 1.4 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .251 with 6 homers, 25 RBI, and 21 runs scored in 226 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
