Yankees hopeful for Aaron Hicks (intercostal) to return early next week
Per MLB.com's Bryan Hoch, the New York Yankees are hopeful that outfielder Aaron Hicks will return from the disabled list early next week.
Hicks was placed on the DL with a muscle strain following the season opener. He has continued to increase his activity and could play in next week's series against the Boston Red Sox. When he's back, that could mean fewer starts for Brett Gardner but also more games at DH for Giancarlo Stanton.
We project Hicks for 14 home runs, 54 RBI and a .248 average over the remainder of the season.
