Nationals' Anthony Rendon tossed Saturday for arguing balls and strikes
According to MASN's Mark Zuckerman, Washington Nationals third/second baseman Anthony Rendon was ejected from Saturday's game for arguing balls and strikes.
Rendon disagreed with a called third strike during the third inning. It was unclear if he said anything to the umpire, but Rendon clearly tossed his bat in frustration. Manager Dave Martinez was also ejected. The recently called up Matt Reynolds took Rendon's place at third.
Rendon finished the game 0-for-2 with 2 strikeouts and 0 FanDuel points.
