Reds place Raisel Iglesias on paternity leave
The Cincinnati Reds have placed relief pitcher and closer Raisel Iglesias on paternity leave.
What It Means:
As Opening Day arrives, Iglesias will leave the team tobe with his family for the birth of his child. Until he returns, the Reds will play the matchups late in games, with guys like lefty Wandy Peralta and righty Jared Hughes.
Our models project Iglesias for 30 saves, a 4-3 record and 2.46 ERA in 2018.
