Chicago's Javier Baez clubs key three-run tater

Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez smacked a three-run homer in Chicago's 6-4 series-clinching win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.

What It Means:

With the Cubs trailing 2-1, Baez took Cardinals' starter John Lackey deep for an opposite field home run, capping a four-run second inning.

Baez -- only in the lineup because Addison Russell was injured Monday night -- added a single to finish 2-for-3. Baez will be an interesting pick in 2016 drafts. He's proven he has power (29 jacks in in 309 big league plate appearances) at a thin fantasy position, but the Cubs have to decide how to deploy their overcrowded infield group of Kris Bryant, Russell, Baez and Starlin Castro.
