Angels send Parker Bridwell to Triple-A
The Los Angeles Angels optioned pitcher Parker Bridwell to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Bridwell twirled a solid 3.64 ERA last season while going 10-3 during his first real taste of big league action, but he's struggled this spring, with a 7.91 ERA in six Cactus League outings. The 26-year-old right-hander will likely make his way back into the Angels' rotation at some point in 2018.
numberFire's models project Bridwell to record a 4.53 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 14.5 strikeout percentage while going 4-4 across 73 2/3 innings in limited work this season.
