Boston's Eduardo Rodriguez (knee) on track to pitch in minor league game next week
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (knee) is expected to play in a minor league game next Tuesday.
Rodriguez went through a three-inning round of live batting practice on Thursday as he continues to progress through rehab after undergoing knee surgery in October. The 24-year-old left-hander might be ready to join the Red Sox rotation by the middle of April.
numberFire's models project Rodriguez to record a 3.92 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 22.1 strikeout percentage this season while going 5-5 across 101 innings.
