Mets' Yoenis Cespedes (wrist) given cortisone shot
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was given a cortisone shot for his right wrist.
Cespedes is dealing with some wrist soreness, but the good news is X-rays came up negative. He's considered day-to-day, so he should be fine for the start of the season. Injuries held Cespedes to just 81 games in 2017.
For the 2018 season, numberFire projects Cespedes to hit .281 with 76 runs, 31 home runs, and 82 RBIs in 580 plate appearances.
