Nelson Cruz leaves Mariners' Tuesday game with quad soreness
Seattle Mariners outfielder Nelson Cruz left Tuesday's Cactus League game against the Colorado Rockies with quad soreness.
Cruz came up hobbling running to first base on an RBI single in the first inning. It looked like he was grabbing at his quad, but we should know more soon. If the injury is serious, Cruz could be in danger of missing the start of the season.
Our models project Cruz for a .265 batting average, with 33 home runs, 78 runs scored, and 104 RBI over 614 plate appearances in 2018.
