Report: Twins, Lance Lynn agree to one-year, $12 million deal
The Minnesota Twins and free agent pitcher Lance Lynn have agreed to a one-year, $12 million deal, according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi.
The two sides have been closing in on a deal and it looks like it's just about done. Lynn can't be too happy with such a short-term contract, but the market dried up and he'll look to pitch well and capitalize next offseason. He will join a rotation that includes the recently acquired Jake Odorizzi, Jose Berrios and Ervin Santana.
In his 6 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, Lynn has turned in at least 11 wins in the last 5 while posting a 3.38 ERA in 161 starts.
