Reds' Billy Hamilton diagnosed with sprained finger

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton has been diagnosed with a sprained left index finger.

What It Means:

Hamilton is considered day-to-day but this doesn't sound like anything that will put him at risk of missing Opening Day. The 27-year-old center fielder hasn't stolen a base and is 0-for-14 in Cactus League play.

numberFire's models project Hamilton to bat .250 with 3 home runs, 36 RBI, 70 runs scored, and 52 steals in 572 plate appearances this season.
