Mariners' Mitch Haniger (hand) to make spring training debut this week
Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (hand) is scheduled to take batting practice on Tuesday.
Haniger successfully made it through a live batting practice session on Tuesday without any setbacks. After experiencing some soreness in his right hand late last month, it sounds like the 27-year-old outfielder should be ready for Opening Day.
numberFire's models project Haniger to bat .256 with 18 home runs, 62 RBI, 70 runs scored, and 4 steals in 582 plate appearances this season.
